Looking for inexpensive meal ideas...

You know, beans & rice, rice & beans, etc...lol We're trying to shrink our grocery budget. Because I run a child care home, I can be cooking 3 times a day for 2 adults and as many as 7 babies & toddlers 5 days a week! AND a couple of the kiddos have allergies (dairy, tomato, nuts). Luckily, allergy days tend to be just Thursday & Fridays so, I have more wiggle room the rest of the week. The problem is, by Thursday, all I can think to serve are easy Italian and easy Mexican! Umm...HELLO? That's all tomato & dairy!! lol So, if anybody has some great, yummy (cheap!) recipes, I'd love to be friends!

I would love to share recipes! I am a stay-at-home mom of two young kids and I am looking for easy, healthy recipes that they will eat. My current project is to get a wider variety of veggies into our diet. I'll try to leave notes on which ones my 3-year-old actually eats.

I'd like to share as well. My family is also on a budget (living within, instead of without, out means.) At one point, we were spending $1000 a month because we ate out so much. I'd tried meal planning before but just found it cumbersome. With Plan to Eat, it has made my life simpler and I've been able to plan meal a month at a time, grocery shop at the beginning of the month for all but the perishable foods needed for end of the month recipes. Great time and money saver!

Please feel free to add me.

Add me too! I'm a stay at home mom trying to shrink the food budget. I've been trying and collecting the best recipes from around the web. Try the Mile High Biscuits and Chocolate Cake recipes. You're welcome in advance. :) I try to make everything from scratch or basic ingredients, but when I have a coupon I use whatever I can.

I want to work on doing freezer cooking and making month meal plans. I have one month meal plan already saved you are welcome to.
