Oh yay! This is just what I'm looking for. Joined today - moving towards raw and Weston Price type recipes - salads, fermented foods, real foods etc. I'll send you all friend requests. I haven't loaded many yet and have a busy month ahead, so probably won't get a chance to add a lot more till December. But I will definitely be adding some from my sister's and friend's collections - who eat very healthily and share their recipes with me.
Thank you so much, Sarah and friends, for adding me to your friend-lists. I promise I will add some yummy-health recipes of my own as soon as I get a chance. I'm so thrilled to find some Nourishing Traditions recipes already loaded up and ready to plan with. Yum yum! You might enjoy checking out my sister's blog - where she often includes recipes of this sort with some of her own adaptations and creations. Check out her fermented coconut granola! http://homelifegreenlife.com/
I have been doing Nourishing Traditions for several years now.
I'm recently going beyond Nourishing Traditions to clear up some
digestive issues me and my son are having and will be incorporating
the Specific Carbohydrate Diet/GAPS diet. The Weston Price
Foundation promotes the above diet for those with
digestive/behavioral issues. All of the recipes I collect have
NT/SCD/GAPS protocol in mind. Would love to share grain-free/NT
recipes with people here.
Hahaha! I actually "squeed" a little when I saw this topic as I
just got the book today! I have been wanting to buy it for about a
month. We want to eat healthier and so I think this will help a
lot! I am not too good at using the plan to eat site yet, but I am
sure I will get better. Feel free to add me as a friend!
whohoooo!!!! That is us. We are at the beginning of our Journey.
I have about 20 recipes i have gotten. Most are from blogs i
follow. I had copy and pasted them to word and saved them before I
joined here. If you see one and know where its from please feel
free to let me know so I can give credit. Cant wait to share
recipes. I really need some so we have lots of variety.
I've requested to add almost everyone here as a friend - and I
just wanted to let you know what tags I've used for NT and real
food... seeing as I have almost 450 recipes entered, through all
kinds of different phases (weight watchers, comfort food, family
favorites) - that wouldn't be fun to search through. I've tagged NT
specific foods as such, also using "real food." I've also created
"real food" as a cuisine, so all my whole
foods/traditional/homemade/NT is under that as well.
I just wanted to let people know how to search through some
things so you don't have to sift through the 350+ non-modified
recipes to get to the good stuff!
Hi, I just joined Plan to Eat and was wondering if I could join
your friends list. We are transitioning to a Weston Price diet and
I love this cookbook! I'm still learning how to use this site but
will add our own recipes soon. We eat real foods, and our meal plan
revolves around what CSA veggies need to be used up the soonest! I
need a little help with this now as we just moved and I'm pregnant
so I'm feeling a little too wiped to think ahead lately. Hope this
site can help with that.
Please add me to your group/sharing list (mpayne9205)! I'd love
to share recipes that are healthier and more natural. (sadly, my
list right now is pretty low on those) Thanks for the heads-up on
this book, going to look for it now!
Hello everyone. I am new here too. I just finished the How to
Cook Real Food course from the Nourished Kitchen website and would
love to be added to your group to share recipes. I recently finshed
the NT book and love it!
Hi everyone! Just signed up for my free trial and struggling
since I have no friends to share recipes with! My IRL friends do
not eat this way, LOL! Please add me. I sent to adds just now but
have limited time online right now. I wan tot make this work
We have been attempting to eat WAPF and NT for a few years now.
I use a lot of gnowfglins recipes. However trying to be careful
that I only make public those Wardeh makes public ( which is a
lot). If you are new to this type of eating she has 5 online
classes that have really helped us start to make the transition.
Just had a baby so still loading recipes but have about 100.
